Mouhamed Faye (ex Reggio Emilia) could sign at Paris

Defending champion Paris Basketball (Betclic ELITE ProA) is about to sign 20-year-old Senegalese ex-international 206cm center Mouhamed Faye for the new season, who last played at Unahotels Reggio Emilia in Italy. In 31 Serie A games, he averaged 10.1ppg, 7.8rpg, and 1.5bpg last season. He was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Italian League Best Prospect of the Year and was voted to Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. Faye also played 15 games in the Basketball Champions League, where he had 6.8ppg, 4.9rpg, and 1.2bpg, helping his team reach the quarterfinals. For the previous three seasons (2021-24), he played for another Italian team, Unahotels Reggio Emilia U20 team in Italy.
He was also a member of the Senegalese international program for some years. Faye played for Senegalese Senior National Team two years ago and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2022.
He also represented Senegal at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 2.7 ppg and had 1.7 rpg.
Faye has also played in Croatia (NGT Zadar) and Lithuania.
Despite his young age, he had an impressive career. Faye's team made it to the Italian Cup Final Four in 2024. He received the Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A Best Young Player of the Year award in 2024.
