Al Ahly Tripoli (D1) signed 25-year old Senegalese international point guard Jean-Jacques Boissy (183cm-2000). Boissy moved there from Rwanda Energy Group Kigali in Rwandan RBL league where he started the season. In 13 games just recently he had very impressive stats: 22.5ppg, 5.4rpg, 4.3apg and 3.2spg. The last season he played at Urunani in Burundian league.
He has been also a member of Senegalese international program for some years. Boissy has regularly played for Senegalese senior team since 2022 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2019.
He represented Senegal at the African Championship U18 in Bamako (Mali) seven years ago. Boissy's team won Silver but his stats at that event were not that remarkable as he did not score anything.
Boissy is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in France (Vitre), Spain (Cornella) and Senegal (Douanes and Sibac).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Senegalese League Group A Regular Season in 2024. Boissy was voted to Afrobasket.com Basketball Africa League All-Defensive Team in 2023.
