La Laguna Tenerife (Liga Endesa) agreed terms with 22-year old Senegalese ex-international center Ibou Badji (218cm-2002). He just played at Wisconsin Herd (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 50 games he had 6.0ppg, 5.3rpg and 3.5bpg this season. He also played for the Bucks in NBA. The other team he played shortly were another NBA team the Bucks in NBA.
Badji was also a member of the Senegalese international program for some years. He played for Senegalese Senior National Team between 2021 and 2022 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2020.
Badji also represented Senegal at the World Cup U19 in Latvia four years ago. Badji's team won Silver and he had 14 points per game.
He is quite experienced player. Badji has played also in NBA (Portland Trail Blazers), Spain (FC Barcelona, FC Barcelona Lassa 2nd team, Lleida, FC Barcelona and Barca), NBA Summer League (Portland Trail Blazers) and NBA G League (Rip City Remix).
Among many awards his team made it to the Spanish LEB Oro Play-Off Semifinals in 2022. He was voted to Afrobasket.com All-FIBA AfroBasket Honorable Mention back in 2021.
