Senegal - Rwanda 81-58

Senegal opened Group C campaign with the win at the 2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers. They edged Rwanda 81-58 at the Dakar Arena.
Senegal started with a 20-17 run and led 12 points at the halftime. They hosts added a 21-10 surge in the third quarter as both teams notched 17 points each in the second half.
Brancou Badio (191-G-1999) and Ndoye Youssou (213-C-1991, college: St.Bonaventure) stepped up with 14 points each, whilst Amar Sylla (206-F/C-2001) netted 13. William Robeyns (192-SG-1996) replied with 12 points in a loss and Osborn Shema (213-F-1998, college: Iona) scored 11.
