Shabab tabs Cheikh Diallo

Cheikh Diallo

Al Shabab (D1) inked 28-year old Senegalese international 189cm guard Cheikh Diallo (college: American). He played most recently at AS Loon Plage Basket in French NM1 league. In 19 games he averaged 3.7ppg last season.
He has been also a member of the Senegalese international program for some years. Diallo has regularly played for the Senegalese senior team since 2018 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2013.
He also represented Senegal at the FIBA World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers last year. During this event he scored an average of 6.9 points per game and had 1.4 rebounds per game.
Diallo has played previously professionally in Senegal (Douanes and DUC Dakar).
He graduated from American University in 2019 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball. Diallo played also for Kilgore College for 2 years.
