The Bucks sign Ibou Badji

Ibou Badji

Milwaukee Bucks signed 21-year old Senegalese ecenter Ibou Badji (7'2''-2002). He is not a newcomer in USA League as he played last season at Milwaukee Bucks. In four NBA Summer League games just recently he had only 2.3ppg, 3.3rpg and 1.0bpg. The last seasonhe played for different teams. He ended the season at Remix. Badji also played for the Trail Blazers earlier that season. But in 22 NBA Summer League games he recorded only 1.5ppg and 2.3rpg. The other team he played shortly were another NBA team the Trail Blazers. Another team he played briefly was Herd.
He has never been drafted by the NBA.
Badji was also a member of the Senegalese international program for some years. He played for Senegalese Senior National Team between 2021 and 2022 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2020.
Badji also represented Senegal at the World Cup U19 in Latvia three years ago. Badji's team won Silver and he had 14 points per game.
He has played also in Spain (FC Barcelona, FC Barcelona Lassa 2nd team, Lleida, FC Barcelona and Barca), Spain and other NBA G League team (Wisconsin Badjird).
Among many awards his team made it to the Spanish LEB Oro Play-Off Semifinals in 2022. He was voted to Afrobasket.com All-FIBA AfroBasket Honorable Mention back in 2021.
