Senegal U18 held off Ivory Coast U18 to open win count in Group A. Ivory Coast led by six points after ten minutes. But Senegal used a strong 26-18 rally in the fourth period to snatch a tough win at the end. Ousseynou Sambe (208-C-2006) tallied 25 points and 12 rebounds for Senegal. Theo Chaney (192-G-2006) had 14 points for Ivory Coast.
