POSTED BY: Abdul Hamid Addasi
Thomas also represented Senegal at the FIBA World Cup 2019 Qualifiers five years ago. His team won Bronze and he averaged almost 4 ppg. He is a very experienced player. Thomas has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eleven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Bahrain, Iran (Azad), Japan (Broncos), Jordan (Orthodox and Al Wihdat), Lebanon (Beirut Club, Dynamo and Hoops), Qatar (Al Sadd), Saudi Arabia (Al Hilal, Ohod and Ittihad), Spain (Caceres), Tunisia (US Monastir, ES Rades and US Ansar), Libya (Al Nasr) and Mali (Police). Thomas' team won Senegalese League Group A Regular Season in 2024. Among many awards, he was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian Premier League Domestic Blocker of the Year in 2022. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Nasser. Thomas graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2012 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball. He also played for Oklahoma State University for 2 years.
