Thioune's pro career starts at Belfius Mons

Lahat Thioune

Belfius Mons-Hainaut (Pro Basketball League) signed 24-year-old Senegalese 208cm forward Lahat Thioune for the new season. He recently graduated from S.Dakota (NCAA), where he averaged 14.3ppg and 9.3rpg in 31 games last season.
He began his college career at the University of Utah (NCAA) where he played four seasons before transferring to the University of Central Florida (NCAA). He spent his high school career at Florida Preparatory Academy in Melbourne, FL.
As mentioned above, he is just out of college and it will be his first full season as a pro. Thioune was also voted to All-Summit League Honorable Mention in 2024. He played for other colleges such as University of Central Florida and University of Utah.
