Ndiaye is back at Baskonia

Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (Liga Endesa) signed 20-year-old Senegalese international small forward Ousmane Ndiaye (210cm-2004) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. It is actually his comeback to Vitoria as he has played here before. He played last season at Zunder Palencia in Liga Endesa. However, his team was relegated to Primera FEB. In 13 Liga Endesa games, he had 5.0ppg and 4.1rpg.
He also represented Senegal at the FIBA U18 African Championship in Madagascar two years ago. Ndiaye was the best scorer at the event with 15.5 ppg, while he added 10.7 rebounds per game.
He has played previously in Germany (Dragons Rhoendorf) and Spain (Grupo Eleyco Baskonia B team and Venta de Banos) as well.
Despite his young age, he had an impressive career. His team was the regular season runner-up in the Spanish Liga Endesa in 2023. Ndiaye was also voted the Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Pro B Newcomer of the Year in 2022.
