Virtus Segafredo Bologna (Serie A) agreed terms with 22-year old Italian-Senegalese international forward Mouhamet Diouf (208cm-105kg-2001) for new 2024-25 season. Diouf played last season at Rio Breogan in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 12 games he had 7.3ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.3bpg. He also played 4 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 9.0ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.0spg.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Unahotels Reggio Emilia in Italian Serie A. In 28 games he averaged 6.0ppg and 3.2rpg in that year. Diouf also played 5 games in Basketball Champions League where he got just 2.4ppg and 1.0rpg in that year.
He has been a member of Italian international program for some years. Diouf has been regularly called to Italian senior team since 2021 and previously for U20 National Team in 2021.
He has played previously for Italian team Pallacanestro Reggiana Reggio Emilia U18 team.
His team made it to the FIBA Europe Cup final in 2022.
