Cantabria keeps Fallou for another season

Grupo Alega Cantabria Torrelavega (LEB Gold) re-signed experienced 36-year-old Senegalese 202cm power forward Niang Fallou for the new season. He played there last season. In 29 LEB Gold games, he averaged just 3.0ppg and 1.9rpg. The previous (2022-23) season, he played at another Spanish team Monbus Obradoiro (Liga Endesa).
He has spent his entire career in Spain playing for two other teams: Nautico Tenerife and CB Tenerife.
Fallou helped his team to make it to the EBA Final Stage Group 1 Runner-Up in 2022. He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Cantabria.
