Milano signs Ousmane Diop

AX Armani Exchange Milano (Serie A) signed 24-year-old double-passport holder Senegalese power forward Ousmane Diop (204cm-100kg-2000) for the upcoming 2024-25 season. He has played for the last three years at Dinamo BDS Sassari in the Serie A. In 24 games, he had 11.5ppg and 5.3rpg last season. It was a good year as he was named League Player of the Week. He also played 6 games in the Basketball Champions League where he recorded 11.3ppg, 3.8rpg, and 1.0spg.
Diop has played previously for three other teams: Torino, Udine, and Dinamo Academy Alghero Cagliari.
Among many awards, his team made it to the Italian final in 2023. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Honorable Mention back in 2021.
