Loon-Plage lands Cheikh Diallo, ex DUC Dakar

AS Loon Plage Basket (NM1) tabbed 27-year old Senegalese international 189cm guard Cheikh Diallo (college: American) for new season. Diallo played most recently at DUC Dakar in Senegalese N1M league. In 5 Basketball Africa League games he averaged impressive 15.2ppg, 2.2rpg, 2.0apg and 1.0spg in 2021-22 year.
He also represented Senegal at the World Championships U19 in Prague (Czech Republic) ten years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 3.7ppg, 1.0rpg.
Diallo has played also professionally in Douanes. His team won Senegalese League Group A Regular Season in 2021 and 2022.
He graduated from American University in 2019 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball. Diallo played also for Kilgore College for 2 years.
