Association-Sportive-des-Douanes-Dakar (D1) landed 31-year old American 185cm guard Terrell Stoglin (college: Maryland) for upcoming season. Stoglin joins another USA player Marcus Crawford who is already in the roster.
He played most recently at Al Ittihad in Syrian SBL league. He also played for Ahly Tripoli in Libyan league that season.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
Stoglin is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to sixteen different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Stoglin has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Manama), China (Hunan), France (Cholet Basket), Greece (Ilysiakos), Iraq (Al Shorta), Italy, Lebanon (Beirut Club and Sagesse), Morocco (AS Sale), Poland (Enea Zastal), Qatar (Al Rayyan), Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli), Turkey (Adanaspor), Ukraine (Mariupol), Venezuela (Trotamundos), Egypt (Zamalek) and Libya (Al Nasr).
Among many awards he won Moroccan League championship title in 2021. He was voted to Afrobasket.com All-Basketball Africa League Honorable Mention in 2021.
Stoglin graduated from University of Maryland in 2012 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Stoglin's game is described as: A lefty scorer who played the point-guard spot but who seems more adequate for the 2 spot at European level. Has an immense offensive talent, can score in various ways but loves to start any game with the ball in his hands and is too much selfish to play stably at the point.
