Youssoupha Fall

   #1. This week's number one is former U18 international center Youssoupha Fall (221-1995, currently plays in France). He was the major contributor in an ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket's victory against the 11th-ranked JL Bourg (10-11) 68-62 in the French Betclic ELITE ProA last Sunday. Fall recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting the same number of rebounds. He also added 4 blocks. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (5-1) is placed first in the Betclic ELITE ProA. It was ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Fall averages: 8.4ppg, 5.7rpg and FT: 72.2%. He has a dual citizenship: Senegalese and French. Cheikh Mbodj

   #2. Second place goes to an experienced former international center Cheikh Mbodj (208-1987, agency: Octagon Europe, college: Cincinnati, currently plays in Japan). He led Nishinomiya Storks to an easy victory against the leader Kagawa FA (24-12) crushing them 101-70 in the Japanese B2 League in Saturday night's game. Mbodj scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams. Nishinomiya Storks (22-11) are placed second in West group. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. Mbodj has relatively good stats this season: 15.0ppg, 9.8rpg, 1.5apg, 1.5bpg, 2FGP: 56.7%(186-328) and FT: 67.2%. He played for the Senegalese national team in 20.

Makhtar Gueye

   #3. The Senegalese player who performed third best last week abroad was former international forward Makhtar Gueye (208-1997, college: CBU, currently plays in Spain). He could not help Menorca (10-8) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Gueye's good performance the seventh-placed Menorca (10-8) was badly defeated 78-62 on the road by the higher-ranked La Roda (#4) in the East group. He was the top scorer with 13 points. Gueye also added 8 rebounds. Gueye's overall stats this season are: 7.1ppg, 5.5rpg, 2FGP: 42.2%, 3FGP: 26.7% and FT: 47.1%. He played for the Senegalese national team year ago.

Mbaye Ndiaye

   #4. Small forward Mbaye Ndiaye (203-1999, currently plays in France) led ADA Blois to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Tours (9-9) 72-54 in the French ProB (second division) in Sunday night's game. Despite Badji's very good performance Phoenix Brussels lost 70-75 in Leuven to the higher-ranked (#3) Bears. He was the top scorer with 18 points. Badji also added 7 rebounds in 27 minutes. Abdoulaye Ndoye

   #7. Former international center Abdoulaye Ndoye (207-1995, currently plays in France) faced previously mentioned Ibrahima Fall-Faye in the French Betclic ELITE ProA last game. Ndoye was not able to secure a victory for Gravelines-Dunkerque (4-1) in their game against Monaco (13-7). He scored 5 points and added 4 assists. Biram Faye

   #10. Center Biram Faye (206-2000, currently plays in Kosovo) couldn't help Prishtina (15-0) in their last game on Friday. Despite Faye's good performance the league leader Prishtina was defeated 94-90 in Mitrovice by the leading Trepca. He scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Faye averaged so far 10.9ppg, 8.0rpg and 1.2bpg. He is a former U19 international player as years ago he still played for the Senegalese national team.

   #11. Former international center Maodo Nguirane (210-1993, currently plays in France) couldn't help Rueil (14-12) in their last game. Despite Nguirane's good performance Rueil (#4) lost 71-79 at home to the leading Etoile Angers in the Group A. He scored 10 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 24 minutes.    #12. Former international guard Alga Ndiaye (198-1999, currently plays in Canada) couldn't help the Ryerson College in their game against the Blues in the U Sports. He had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 10 rebounds. Diouf also added 6 assists and 2 blocks in 30 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams. Bakken Bears Aarhus (16-0) is placed first in Winner Stage group. So far his team won all sixteen games in the Regular Season. Diouf has relatively good stats this year: 10.7ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.6apg and 1.5bpg in 15 games he played so far.

   #2. Oumar Seck (208-C-1988, currently plays in Qatar) could not help Qatar Club (1-2) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Qatar Club was edged 76-73 in a derby game by the lower-ranked (#7) Al Rayyan. Seck had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 19 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in 40 minutes. Seck's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Seck has relatively good stats this year: 14.7ppg, 12.4rpg, 3.2apg and 1.7bpg in 13 games.

   #3. Mouhamed Gueye (213-F/C, currently plays college basketball in the States) led WSU to a victory against the The University of Washington (8-8) 78-70 in the NCAA last Wednesday. Gueye recorded 25 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 34 minutes. The Washington State University has 8-8 conference record this season. The Regular Season already ended in the NCAA. This year Gueye's overall stats are: 7.7ppg and 5.4rpg in 27 games.

   #4. Khadim Sy (208-F-1997, currently studies in the States) contributed to a Wake Forest's victory against the University of Notre Dame (13-4) 79-74 in the NCAA in Saturday night's game. Sy recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 10 rebounds. The Wake Forest University has a solid 11-7 conference record this season. There are only three games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Sy's overall stats this season are: 6.4ppg and 4.7rpg.

   #5. Baye Modou Diouf (203-F-1999, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Cd'Orlando in their game against Udine (16-3) in the Italian Serie A2 (second division). He scored only 4 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 34 minutes. Cd'Orlando (#11) lost 71-80 on the road to the leading Udine in the Group Green. It was Cd'Orlando's fourth consecutive loss in a row. This year Diouf's overall stats are: 5.2ppg and 6.9rpg in 19 games.

   #7. Lahat Thioune (208-C-1999, currently plays college basketball in the States) was not able to secure a victory for the Utah in their game against the University of Arizona in the NCAA.
