Orthodox signs Ibrahima Thomas

Orthodox Amman (Premier League) signed experienced 34-year old Senegalese ex-international forward Ibrahima Thomas (213cm-109kg-87, college: Cincinnati, agency: BIG) for upcoming 2021-22 season.
Thomas already started the season at Bahrain Club in Bahrain Premier League.

Part of last season he spent at AS Police in Mali league where in three Basketball Africa League games he had 13.3ppg, 12.0rpg, 3.3apg and 1.7spg. He also played for US Ansar (ProA) in Tunisian league.

Thomas also represented Senegal at the Afrobasket Championships in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) eight years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 7 games: 3.0ppg, 3.1rpg.

He is quite experienced player. Thomas has played in nine different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Iran (Azad), Japan (Saitama), Lebanon (Hoops), Qatar (Al Sadd), Saudi Arabia (Al Hilal and Al Ittihad), Spain (Caceres), Jordan (Al Wihdat), Tunisia (ES Rades) and Libya (Al Nasr).

Thomas won Tunisian League championship title in 2018.
He attended University of Cincinnati until 2012 and it is his tenth season as a professional player.
