Former U18 international power forward Cheikh Sane (207-92, college: Marshall, currently plays in Switzerland) led Starwings to a victory against the closely-ranked Neuchatel 89-75 in the Swiss SBL in Friday night's game. Sane recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 15 rebounds. He also added 5 blocks. Sane averaged so far 11.1ppg, 10.9rpg and 2.2apg. He used to play for the Senegalese U18 national team thirteen years ago. #12. Former international guard Lamine Sambe (188-89, currently plays in France) couldn't help ADA Blois (19-9) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his good performance ADA Blois was defeated 91-84 in Evreux by the lower-ranked ALM Evreux (#9). Sambe recorded 11 points. Sambe has averaged so far 6.7ppg, 1.1rpg and 1.8apg. He used to play for the Senegalese national team back in 2019. #13. Former international center Bamba Fall (217-86, agency: Players Group, college: SMU, currently plays in Spain) helped Granada win their game against the leader Real Murcia 101-95 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) in Saturday night's game. Fall scored 18 points, had 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 30 minutes. Fall averaged so far 11.2ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.1bpg in 25 games. He used to play for the Senegalese national team fourteen years ago. #14. International power forward Mouhammad Faye (207-85, college: SMU, currently plays in France) couldn't help Boulazac Basket in their game against Chalons-Reims in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. Faye scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. His team was defeated 84-75. Faye has averaged so far 4.5ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.1apg. He plays currently for the Senegalese national team. #15. International small forward Mbaye Ndiaye (203-99, currently plays in France) is a teammate of previously mentioned Lamine Sambe and both played together in the last French ProB game. Ndiaye couldn't help ADA Blois in their game against ALM Evreux. He recorded only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. His team was defeated 91-84. Ndiaye has averaged so far 8.8ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.2apg and 1.3bpg. He is also in the roster of the Senegalese national team. Amath M'Baye (205-PF-89, college: Oklahoma, currently plays in Turkey) led Pinar Karsiyaka to a victory against the league leader Fenerbahce (26-0) 80-71 in the Turkish BSL in Saturday night's game. He scored 17 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 39 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir (21-9) is placed third in the BSL. M'Baye has relatively good stats this year: 13.8ppg, 3.7rpg and 2.2apg in 32 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Senegalese and French. #2. Michel Diouf (208-C-89, currently plays in Denmark) led Bakken to a victory over the second-ranked Horsens IC (19-7) 96-87 in the Danish BasketLigaen in Thursday night's game. Diouf was MVP of the game. He scored 17 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Pro A. Bakken Bears (23-3) is placed first. It's Diouf's sixth season with the team. Diouf has relatively good stats this year: 10.4ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.4apg, 1.1bpg and 1.2spg. #3. Experienced Ousmane Diop (205-F/C-0, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked Mantova (6-4) crushing them 84-56 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) on Monday night. Diop scored 16 points, grabbed 8 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 3 balls. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-6. Reale Mutua Basket Torinois placed . Bamba Diouf (198-F-93, currently plays in Japan) was the major contributor in Iwate's victory against one of league's weakest teams Kagoshima (8-29) 94-81 in the Japanese B3 League on Saturday night. Diouf had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 15 rebounds in 32 minutes. Iwate Big Bulls (23-13) are placed fifth in the B3 League. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Diouf has reliable stats this year: 11.5ppg and 7.1rpg in 36 games. #5. Boubacar Toure (213-C/F-95, college: EMU, currently plays in France) could not help Chorale de Roanne (3-13) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance Chorale de Roanne was defeated 83-77 on the road by the much higher-ranked Limoges CSP Elite (#8). Toure was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 5 rebounds. The Regular Season already ended. Toure's total stats this season are: 9.1ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.2bpg. #6. Diop Cheikh (210-C-97, currently plays in Japan) contributed to Kagoshima's victory against the fifth-ranked Iwate 88-84 in the Japanese B3 League last Sunday. Cheikh had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 11 rebounds in 25 minutes. Cheikh averaged so far 11.9ppg, 9.6rpg and 1.4apg in 37 games. #7. Sam Gaye Serigne (198-PF-96, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Pozzuoli in their game against Monopoli AN in the Italian Serie B (third division), despite his very good performance on Friday night. Gaye Serigne had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 12 rebounds in 31 minutes. But his team lost 64-73. Gaye Serigne has averaged so far 8.8ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.4spg in 25 games. He has both Senegalese and Italian nationalities. #8. Mamadou Dia (201-C/F-78, currently plays in France) managed to help FOS Provence Basket in a victory against the tenth-ranked Gries/Oberhoffen crushing them 87-61 in the French ProB (second division) last Tuesday. Dia scored only 2 points in 11 minutes. This year Dia averages just 0.8ppg in eight games. He also holds two passports: Senegalese and French. #9. Ibrahima Diallo (208-F-98, college: Manhattan, currently plays in Basketball Africa League) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams AS Police in their game against FAP in the Basketball Africa League. Diallo cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points. His team was crushed by 22 points 87-65. Diallo has averaged so far 2.0ppg and 1.5rpg.
