AS Douane Dakar (D1) signed 30-year old Senegalese ex-international guard Louis Adams (193-91kg-90, college: Eastern Florida State). It is actually his comeback to Dakar as he has played here before. The last time (19) he played at Tormes in Spanish EBA league. He missed last two seasons and had longer break from professional basketball.
Adams was also a member of Senegalese international program for some years. He played for Senegalese Senior National Team between 2007 and 2017 and previously for U18 National Team in 2008.
Adams represented Senegal at the Afrobasket Championships three years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 6 games: 4.7ppg, 1.7rpg, 1.2apg.
Adams is a very experienced player.
He graduated from Eastern Florida State in 2012 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
