   #1. This week's number one is an experienced U19 international power forward Amar Sylla (206-1, currently plays in Belgium). He was the major contributor in Oostende's victory against the seventh-ranked Basic-Fit Brussels (1-3) 74-62 in the Belgian Euromillions League in Saturday night's game. Sylla scored 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 27 minutes on the court. It was his first game for Oostende this season. His team is placed first in the Euromillions League. So far Oostende won all four games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Sylla is currently a member of the Senegalese U19 national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Moise Diame (206-86, currently plays in France). He led SO Maritime Boulogne to a victory over the 12th-ranked La Rochelle (1-4) crushing them 76-53 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday. Diame was MVP of the game. He recorded 16 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. SO Maritime Boulogne (4-1) is placed first in Group A. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. But the season just started, so everything may happen. It's Diame's first year with the team. This season Diame averages: 6.8ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.4bpg, 2FGP: 73.7%(14-19) and FT: 75.0%. He is in the roster of the Senegalese senior national team.

Moussa Diagne

   #3. The Senegalese player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Moussa Diagne (211-94, currently plays in Spain). He was the main contributor in Andorra's victory against the closely-ranked FC Barcelona (2-1) 86-84 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Sunday night. Diagne was the best player in that game. He scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 28 minutes. MoraBanc Andorra (2-1) is placed seventh in the Liga Endesa. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Diagne has relatively good stats this year: 13.3ppg, 5.7rpg, 2FGP: 72.7%(16-22) and FT: 61.5% in three games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Senegalese and Spanish. Worth to mention Diagne played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. Diagne played for the Senegalese national team three years ago.

Center Bamba Fall (217-86, agency: Players Group, college: SMU, currently plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked Melilla Baloncesto (1-2) 83-66 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) in Friday night's game. He was the top player that evening. Fall recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 12 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). HLA Alicante (2-1) is placed fifth in the LEB Gold. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. It's Fall's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Fall averages: 17.0ppg and 9.0rpg. He used to play for the Senegalese national team back in 2007.

   #5. International power forward Mouhammad Faye (207-85, college: SMU, currently plays in ABA League) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Primorska (1-1) crushing them 90-64 in the ABA League on Friday night. He recorded 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. It was his first game for Crvena Zvezda this season. His team is placed fifth in the ABA League. Faye plays currently for the Senegalese national team.

   #6. Center Youssou Ndoye (213-91, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in France) could not help JSF Nanterre (2-1) in their last game. Despite his very good performance JSF Nanterre lost 80-84 on the road to the second-ranked JDA Dijon. Ndoye was the second best scorer with 17 points. He also added 9 rebounds in 28 minutes. Ndoye has very impressive stats this year: 16.5ppg and 8.0rpg in two games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Senegalese National Team roster.

   #7. Former international point guard Clevin Hannah (179-87, agency: BeoBasket, college: Wichita St., currently plays in EuroCup) is a teammate of previously mentioned Moussa Diagne. But that was another game of his team in Eurocup which we would like to mention. Hannah contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (0-2) 97-78. He scored 7 points and added 8 passes in 17 minutes. MoraBanc Andorra (1-1) is placed fourth in group A. This year Hannah's overall stats are: 6.5ppg, 1.5rpg and 7.5apg in two games. He is another player who holds two passports: Senegalese and American. Hannah used to play for the Senegalese national team two years ago.

   #8. Center Youssoupha Fall (221-95, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to help Baskonia in their game against Khimki (2-0) in the Euroleague. He scored 9 points. But Baskonia was edged 79-76 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Khimki (#5). Fall's total stats this season are: 5.5ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.5bpg. He used to play for the Senegalese U18 national team back in 2012.

Former international center Pape Faye (200-87, currently plays in Japan) contributed to a Levanga Hokkaido Sapporo's victory against the fourth-ranked Yokohama BC (1-2) 81-75 in the Japanese B1 League in Monday night's game. Faye scored 9 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 33 minutes. Levanga Hokkaido Sapporo (3-0) is placed first in East group. So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season. This year Faye's total stats are: 5.3ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.3spg in three games. He used to play for the Senegalese national team two years ago.

Power forward Maurice Ndour (206-92, college: Ohio, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to secure a victory for Valencia Basket (0-2) in their game against Olympiacos (1-1) in the Euroleague. Ndour scored 8 points and had 3 steals. Valencia Basket was crushed 89-63 in Pireus by the much higher-ranked Olympiacos (#9). Ndour has averaged so far 5.5ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.5spg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Senegalese National Team roster.

   #11. International power forward Pape Badji (206-92, currently plays in France) couldn't help Poitiers (0-1) in their last game. Despite Badji's good performance Poitiers was crushed 87-59 in Rouen by the much higher-ranked (#6) SPO Rouen. He had a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 10 rebounds in 29 minutes. It was his first game for Poitiers this season. Badji used to play for the Senegalese national team last year.

   #12. International center Hamady N'Diaye (213-87, college: Rutgers, currently plays in France) helped Gravelines-Dunkerque win their game against the closely-ranked Chorale de Roanne crushing them 109-81 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA in Friday night's game. He recorded 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. N'Diaye has averaged so far 5.3ppg, 3.3rpg and 3.0bpg. He is also in the roster of the Senegalese national team.

   #13. Former U18 international power forward Cheikh Sane (207-92, college: Marshall, currently plays in Switzerland) couldn't help BBC Nyon (0-2) in their last game. Despite Sane's very good performance BBC Nyon lost 99-109 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#5) Massagno. He had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 13 rebounds. Sane also added 4 assists in 38 minutes. It was his first game for BBC Nyon this season. Sane used to play for the Senegalese U18 national team eleven years ago.

   #14. International center Cheikh Mbodj (208-87, agency: Octagon Europe, college: Cincinnati, currently plays in France) couldn't help Pau-Lacq-Orthez in their game against Entente Orleans 45 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. He scored 9 points. His team was edged 88-87. Mbodj has averaged so far 9.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.7bpg. He plays currently for the Senegalese national team.

   #15. International power forward Ibrahima Faye (207-97, currently plays in Belgium) helped Antwerp Giants win their game against one of league's weakest teams Leuven Bears crushing them 84-60 in the Belgian Euromillions League on Saturday night. Faye recorded 7 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in 20 minutes. Faye has averaged so far 7.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.0apg and 2.0bpg in two games. He is also in the roster of the Senegalese national team.


The list of other players, who all have Senegalese passport but never been selected to any of Senegalese national teams:

   #1. Amath M'Baye (206-PF-89, college: Oklahoma, currently plays in Turkey) was the major contributor in a Pinar Karsiyaka's victory against one of league's weakest teams Buyukcekmece (0-2) crushing them 80-59 in the Turkish BSL last Sunday. M'Baye scored 17 points in 24 minutes. Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmiris placed in the BSL. M'Baye has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.0ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.5spg in two games he played so far. M'Baye has a dual citizenship: Senegalese and French.

   #2. Experienced Ousmane Diop (204-F/C-0, currently plays in Italy) led Basket TO to a victory against the 12th-ranked Edilnol Bl (0-1) 79-71 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Sunday. Diop recorded 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was his first game for Basket TO this season. His team is placed second in West group. Diop is another player who holds two passports: Senegalese and Italian.

   #3. Michel Diouf (208-C-89, currently plays in Denmark) contributed to Bakken's victory against the third-ranked Randers (2-1) 89-83 in the Danish BasketLigaen in Wednesday night's game. He scored 13 points, had 9 rebounds and made 2 blocks. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Pro A. Bakken Bears (2-0) is placed second. Diouf is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fifth year in Bakken's roster. Diouf's total stats this season are: 10.0ppg, 7.5rpg, 2.0bpg and 2.5spg.

   #4. Elhadji Seck (204-PF-90, agency: Interperformances, college: Idaho, currently plays in Japan) could not help Tokyo CR (1-4) in their last game. Despite his good performance Tokyo CR were badly defeated 89-70 at home by the league outsider (#12) Kanazawa. Seck had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 14 rebounds. He also added 3 assists in 36 minutes. This year Seck's total stats are: 8.2ppg, 11.0rpg and 2.6apg in five games.

   #5. Ibrahima Camara (206-C-94, college: UNH, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to help Lugano Tigers in their game against Fribourg (1-1) in the Swiss SBL, despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game. Camara had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 15 rebounds. He also added 4 assists in 33 minutes. It was his first game for Lugano Tigers this season; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Camara's second season in pro basketball. But the league leader Lugano Tigers lost 77-88 on the road to the lower-ranked (#4) Fribourg.

   #6. Diarra Sidate (210-F-90, currently plays in Japan) was not able to secure a victory for Cyberdyne Ibaraki Robots in their game against Gunma in the Japanese B2 League. Sidate scored 8 points. His team were defeated 76-69. Sidate has averaged so far 7.2ppg and 4.5rpg. He has both Senegalese and Japanese nationalities.

   #7. Atoumane Diagne (215-C-98, currently plays in France) couldn't help Limoges CSP Elite in their game against Levallois in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. Diagne scored only 4 points, had 6 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 16 minutes. His team was edged 108-106. Diagne has averaged so far 9.7ppg, 6.7rpg and 2.0bpg in three games.

   #8. Iba Koite Thiam (205-C-98, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) contributed to Palestrina's victory against the 15th-ranked Formia Meta 78-65 in the Italian Serie B (third division) in Sunday night's game. He scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 30 minutes. This year Thiam has relatively solid stats: 10.5ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.5bpg in two games. He also holds two passports: Senegalese and Italian.

   #9. Yande Fall (200-C/F-90, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Giulianova in their game against Benedetto CE in the Italian Serie B (third division). Despite his good performance last Sunday Fall recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting 15 rebounds. He also added 3 blocks. This season Fall has relatively solid stats: 10.5ppg, 13.5rpg, 1.5apg, 1.5bpg and 1.5spg. He holds both Senegalese and Italian passports.

   #10. Ilimane Diop (210-C-95, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Baskonia in their game against Unicaja Malaga in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Diop cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 3 points in 7 minutes on the court. His team was edged 78-77. This year Diop averages just 2.7ppg in three games. He has Senegalese and Spanish nationalities.
