Here is the weekly review of the top performing Senegalese players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former U18 international center Youssoupha Fall (221-95, currently plays in France). He led SIG Strasbourg to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Levallois (8-22) 69-58 in the French Jeep ELITE ProA in Saturday night's game. Fall was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 14 rebounds. Fall also added 4 blocks and 3 steals in 25 minutes on the court. SIG Strasbourg (18-12) is placed sixth in the Jeep ELITE ProA. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Fall's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Fall averages: 15.2ppg, 8.8rpg, 1.6bpg, 2FGP: 69.4%(168-242) and FT: 60.2% in 26 games he played so far. He played for the Senegalese U18 national team seven years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an international forward Maurice Ndour (206-92, college: Ohio, currently plays in VTB United League). Ndour was the main contributor in an Unics Kazan's victory against the 12th-ranked Stelmet Enea BC (5-21) 82-73 in the VTB United League last Sunday. He was the best player in that game. Ndour scored 17 points. Unics Kazan (21-5) is placed second in the VTB United League. There are only two games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Ndour has relatively good stats this season: 10.7ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 54.1% and FT: 76.0%. He is in the roster of the Senegalese senior national team.

   #3. The Senegalese player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Moussa Diagne (211-94, currently plays in Spain). He could not help Andorra (14-16) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Diagne's good performance Andorra was defeated 87-83 on the road by the higher-ranked CB Canarias (#7). He scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Diagne's overall stats this season are: 8.1ppg, 5.7rpg, 2FGP: 57.8%(67-116) and FT: 75.9%. He has a dual citizenship: Senegalese and Spanish. Worth to mention Diagne played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. Diagne played for the Senegalese national team three years ago.

   #4. Point guard Clevin Hannah (179-87, agency: BeoBasket, college: Wichita St., currently plays in Spain) contributed to a Gran Canaria's victory against the closely-ranked Movil Estudiantes (10-19) 96-86 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Saturday. He scored 14 points and added 3 assists in a mere 17 minutes. Herbalife Gran Canaria (11-19) is placed 13th in the Liga Endesa. This year Hannah has relatively solid stats: 11.6ppg, 1.8rpg and 4.1apg in 21 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Senegalese and American. Hannah used to play for the Senegalese national team back in 2017.

International center Cheikh Mbodj (208-87, agency: Octagon Europe, college: Cincinnati, currently plays in Poland) helped Twarde Pierniki win their game against the seventh-ranked Wilki Morskie (15-15) 70-65 in the Polish EBL in Friday night's game. Mbodj recorded 8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks in 22 minutes. Polski Cukier Torun (24-6) is placed second in the EBL. Mbodj has reliable stats this year: 11.7ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.2apg and 1.8bpg in 28 games. He plays currently for the Senegalese national team.

An experienced forward Mouhammad Faye (207-85, college: SMU, currently plays in Serbia) managed to help Crvena Zvezda MTS Beograd to win against the sixth-ranked Dunav SB (0-3) crushing them 101-60 in the Serbian KLS in Saturday night's game. He recorded 5 points. It was his first game for Crvena Zvezda this season. His team is placed first in Group A. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. Faye is an international player who is currently on the senior Senegalese National Team roster.

   #7. International center Moise Diame (206-86, currently plays in France) was not able to help Saint Vallier (8-8) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance the fourth-placed Saint Vallier (8-8) was defeated 103-88 at home by the lower-ranked JSA Bordeaux (#6) in the Places 1-10 group. Diame recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks. There are only two games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be important. Diame averaged so far 11.0ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.2spg. He is also Senegalese national team player.

Center Youssou Ndoye (213-91, college: St.Bonaventure, currently plays in France) was not able to secure a victory for JL Bourg (27-4) in their game against Le Mans (17-14) in the French Jeep ELITE ProA. Ndoye cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only 2 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in 30 minutes. JL Bourg was badly defeated 79-61 in Le Mans by the lower-ranked (#8) Le Mans. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be extremely important. Ndoye's stats this year are: 14.2ppg, 8.4rpg and 1.4bpg in 27 games. He plays currently for the Senegalese national team.

   #9. International center Hamady N'Diaye (213-87, college: Rutgers, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Sidigas AV (15-13) in their game against Armani Milano (21-7) in the Italian Serie A. N'Diaye cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 2 points. Sidigas AV was defeated 85-79 in Milano by the leading Armani. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. N'Diaye's overall stats this season are: 5.7ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.8bpg. He is also in the roster of the Senegalese national team.

Power forward Ibrahima Faye (207-97, currently plays in Belgium) helped Leuven Bears win their game against the league outsider Liege Basket (6-24) 82-76 in the Belgian Euromillions League on Sunday night. Faye scored 5 points, had 14 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 19 minutes. Stella Artois Leuven Bears (8-23) is placed second from the bottom (#9) in the Euromillions League. Faye averaged so far 11.7ppg, 9.2rpg and 1.3bpg in 29 games. He is a former international player as three years ago he still played for the Senegalese senior national team.

   #11. Former international forward Antoine Mendy (198-83, currently plays in France) helped Lille Metropole win their game against the 15th-ranked Denain Voltaire 85-75 in the French ProB (second division) on Friday night. He was the top player that evening. Mendy scored 18 points. Mendy's overall stats this season are: 7.3ppg and 2.8rpg. He used to play for the Senegalese national team two years ago.

   #12. Former U18 international power forward Cheikh Sane (207-92, college: Marshall, currently plays in Denmark) couldn't help Horsens IC in their game against Bakken in the Danish BasketLigaen. He recorded 6 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 31 minutes. His team lost 86-91. This year Sane's overall stats are: 5.9ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.9apg in 22 games. He used to play for the Senegalese U18 national team back in 2008.

   #13. Former U18 international power forward Ousmane Barro (207-84, college: Marquette, currently plays in Romania) helped CS Dinamo Bucuresti win their game against the leader Sibiu 64-56 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Thursday night's game. Barro scored 5 points, had 12 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Barro averaged so far 13.2ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.5apg and 1.4spg. He used to play for the Senegalese U18 national team seventeen years ago.

   #14. Former U20 international power forward Daniel Gomis (208-91, college: Oregon St., currently plays in New Zealand) couldn't help Mountain Airs in their game against Hawks in the New Zealand NBL. He scored 8 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 21 minutes. His team lost 88-97. This year Gomis' total stats are: 4.8ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg in four games. He used to play for the Senegalese U20 national team back in 2008.

   #15. International guard Lamine Sambe (188-89, currently plays in France) was the major contributor in Rueil's victory against the ninth-ranked Orchesien BC 99-93 in the French NM1 (third division) in Saturday night's game. Sambe scored 14 points, made 5 passes and 3 steals. Sambe averaged so far 14.1ppg, 3.1rpg, 5.3apg and 1.4spg. He is also in the roster of the Senegalese national team.

   #1. Mamadou Niang (209-C-94, currently plays in Basketball Champions League) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Antwerp Giants (6-8) 70-54 in the Basketball Champions League on Friday night. Niang recorded 7 points and blocked 2 blocks in only 13 minutes. Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias (12-2) is placed first in group B. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Niang has been at the team for four years. This season his overall stats are: 5.6ppg and 3.4rpg in 14 games he played so far.

   #2. Malik Dime (206-F/C-92, college: Washington, currently plays in Bulgaria) led Rilski to a victory against the closely-ranked Academik Plovdiv (13-11) 83-77 in the Bulgarian NBL on Monday night. He recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 11 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Dime's second season in pro basketball. Rilski Sportist Samokov (13-11) is placed fifth in the NBL. Dime has reliable stats this season: 14.4ppg, 8.9rpg and 2.4bpg. He has a dual citizenship: Senegalese and American.

   #3. Amath M'Baye (206-F-89, college: Oklahoma, currently plays in Basketball Champions League) was the major contributor in a Virtus Bologna's victory against the third-ranked Brose Baskets (8-6) 67-50 in the Basketball Champions League last Friday. M'Baye recorded 9 points. Virtus Segafredo Bologna (10-4) is placed first in group D. M'Baye averaged so far 11.2ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1spg. He is another player who holds two passports: Senegalese and French.

   #4. Ilimane Diop (210-C-95, currently plays in Spain) managed to help Kirolbet Baskonia Vitoria in a victory against the 14th-ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (10-18) 101-92 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Sunday night. Diop scored only 4 points in 6 minutes on the court. Kirolbet Baskonia Vitoria (22-6) is placed second in the Liga Endesa. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. Diop has been at the team for six years. This season his overall stats are: 5.8ppg and 3.2rpg in 29 games. Diop has both Senegalese and Spanish nationalities.

   #5. Michel Diouf (208-C-89, currently plays in Denmark) contributed to Bakken's victory against the seventh-ranked Horsens IC (3-11) 91-86 in the Danish BasketLigaen last Thursday. He recorded 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 24 minutes. Bakken Bears (22-2) is placed first in ProA group. Diouf is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Bakken's roster. This season Diouf's overall stats are: 10.0ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.4apg in 22 games.

   #6. Mamadou Samb (210-C/F-89, currently plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked Castello 78-63 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) in Friday night's game. Samb scored 7 points. Samb's overall stats this season are: 3.4ppg and 2.9rpg. He also holds two passports: Senegalese and Spanish. Despite Samb's Senegalese nationality, he previously played for the Spanish U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Senegalese team.

   #7. Bira Seck (204-PF-90, agency: Interperformances, college: Idaho, currently plays in Japan) contributed to a 1-point Tokyo Cinq Reves' victory against the closely-ranked Gifu Swoops 91-90 in the Japanese B League D3 last Sunday. Seck scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 30 minutes. Seck averaged so far 13.8ppg, 8.2rpg and 1.8apg in 60 games.

   #8. Experienced Mamadou Dia (201-C/F-78, currently plays in France). Dia could not help Provence Basket to beat Gravelines-Dunkerque. He scored 8 points in only 13 minutes. His team was crushed by 31 points 116-85. This year Dia's overall stats are: 3.7ppg and 1.4rpg in 30 games. He has dual citizenship: Senegalese and French.

   #9. Atoumane Diagne (215-C-98, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Barca II in their game against CB Prat in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). Diagne scored 8 points, had 8 rebounds and made 3 blocks. His team was defeated 70-66. Diagne's overall stats this season are: 6.9ppg, 6.4rpg and 1.7bpg.

   #10. Serigne Ndiaye (204-C-98, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a 3-point Quintanar's victory against the sixth-ranked Rivas 76-73 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) last Saturday. Ndiaye had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 11 rebounds in 25 minutes. Ndiaye averaged so far 14.0ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.1apg in 29 games.
