Oumou Toure
Toulouse Metropole Basket (LF2) re-signed 29-year old Senegalese international power forward Oumou Toure (190-88, agency: Octagon Europe). She played there last season. In 29 LF2 games she averaged 14.9ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.0apg and 1.1bpg. She can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-French LF2 3rd Team.
Among other achievements Toure's team made it to the LF2 Semifinals in 2016. She received also Eurobasket.com All-French LF2 Defensive Player of the Year award in 2016.
Toure represented Senegal at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) last year. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 2.4ppg, 1.8rpg.
Toure has played previously for four other teams: Mondeville, Hainaut, Perpignan and Bretagne Basket.

ASC Ville de Dakar overcame Dakar Universite Club to seal 2017/18 title. They posted a 68-54 win in the Final game of the campaign. Ville de Dakar led 32-27 at the halftime and managed to increase the lead later in the second half. Sabelle Diatta (186-F-86, college: Northeastern JC) was named MVP of the Final as she nailed 17 points. US Orthez Basket (NF1) tabbed 28-year old naturalized Senegalese forward Lala Wane (180-89, agency: Promotex). She played most recently at Eintracht Braunschweig in German 2.Bundesliga. In 5 games she averaged 4.4ppg and 5.0rpg in 2016-17 season. Wane also played for Union Sportive La Glacerie that season where in 5 NF1 games she had 4.4ppg and 5.0rpg.
