Maimouna
Diarra
Haskovo 2012 (NBL) agreed terms with 25-year old Senegalese international center Maimouna Diarra (198-91). Last season Diarra played at 1 De Agosto in Angola. She helped them make it to the Supercup final and to the Cup final.
Diarra's team also won the Angolan Cup in 2015.
She also represented Senegal at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) this year. Her stats at that event were: 5 games, 5.4ppg, 6.2rpg, 1.0apg, FGP: 39.1%, FT: 60.0%.
Diarra's career allowed her to visit three different continents. She tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe (Spain in particular), her native Africa, and of course North America. In her home country in Senegal Diarra has played professionally for Saint-Louis Basket Club and ASC Ville de Dakar.
