Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kigali: REG (#2) and UGB (#6). UGB was defeated at home 90-100 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. REG forced 20 UGB turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by UGB's players. It was a good game for the former international Prince Muhizi (200-1996) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). International forward Furaha Cadeaux de Dieu (203-1998, college: UAFS, agency: Remy Munyaneza) contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!) for the winners. Ghanian James Amotoe (-1998) answered with 27 points and 9 rebounds for UGB. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. REG have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Patriots. UGB at the other side keeps the sixth place with six games lost. REG will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. UGB's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kigali Azomco.
RBL top team - Patriots (9-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Inspired Gen. (0-14) in Kigali 87-52. It was a great evening for naturalized Nigerian forward Chingka Garba (201-2001) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Joseph Lambe-Embola with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Patriots have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-3 record, which they share with REG. Newly promoted Inspired Gen. still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Patriots will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
