David Mutabazi agreed terms with Vancouver

The Vancouver Bandits (CEBL) have strengthened their roster with the addition of 24-year-old American (who also holds a Rwandan passport) 196cm guard David Mutabazi (college: TWU). He graduated last year from Trinity Western University (U Sports). In 18 games, he recorded 9.6ppg, 5.6rpg, and 3.5apg. CEBL will be a better match for him, and he can expect to see more playing time.
He began his college career at Columbia Bible College before transferring to Trinity Western University (U Sports). Mutabazi has been consistently selected for the Rwandan Senior National Team since 2025.
He is playing for a team in the NBA G League. He is adjusting to the differences between college and professional basketball. He is working hard to improve his skills during practices and games.
