American Damaria Franklin (190-G-1999) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Patriots Basketball Club Kigali and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 26-year old guard had the game-high 66 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Patriots in his team's victory, helping them to crush EAU (#8, 3-6) with 25-point margin 103-78. Patriots maintains the 2nd position in Rwandan RBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Patriots will need more victories to improve their 7-3 record. In the team's last game Franklin had a remarkable 63.0% from 2-point range and got seven three-pointers out of 15 attempts. He just recently signed at Patriots, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of Memphis graduate has very impressive stats this year. Franklin is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.7ppg. Franklin is in league's top in and averages solid 2.6spg and 55.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Ghanian James Amotoe (1998) of United Generation Basketball Kigali. Amotoe impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 38 points and 12 rebounds. Of course UGB cruised to a 106-97 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked EAU (#8, 3-6). This victory allowed UGB to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 4-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Amotoe is a newcomer at UGB and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.3ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 7.8rpg and 4.5apg.

The third best performed player last round was Jarode Aworet (2001) of Azomco (#7). Aworet scored 23 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Azomco, leading his team to a 69-64 win against Inspired Gen. (#9, 0-9). The chances of Azomco not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 6 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Aworet could try to bring Azomco's a little bit higher in the standings. Aworet has individually a great season in Rwanda. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.1rpg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Samuel Asiribo) of Inspired Gen. - 15 points and 18 rebounds
5. Ronald Nato (199-F-1992) of EAU - 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Ben Ndayishimiye Cyiza) of EAU - 27 points and 5 rebounds
7. Jeffery Stubbs (189-PG-1991) of Patriots - 12 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists
8. Chingka Garba (201-F-2001) of Patriots - 11 points, 18 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Malik Matsouka) of Azomco - 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists
