Jarode Aworet (2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for Azomco, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds, while his team edged out EAU (#6, 3-4) 82-81. Azomco maintains the 8th position in Rwandan RBL. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 5 games and recorded just two victories. It was one of impressive evenings for Aworet as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Jarode Aworet has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 10.7rpg) and averages impressive 1.7bpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Hodal Herve (2006) of Patriots Basketball Club Kigali. Herve had a very good evening with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Of course he led Patriots to another comfortable win outscoring Inspired Gen. (#9, 0-8) 84-42. This victory allowed Patriots to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 5-3 record is not bad at all. Herve is one of the most experienced players at Patriots and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Chadian forward Ronald Nato (199-F-1992) of East Africa University (#6). Nato scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Despite Nato's great performance the EAU lost 81-82 to slightly lower-ranked Azomco (#8, 2-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Nato has a great season in Rwanda. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.2ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 8.5rpg (9th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
