APR Basketball Club Kigali tabs Quinn Cook, ex Fujian S.

Quinn Cook

Defending champion APR Basketball Club Kigali (RBL) signed 32-year-old USA ex-international 188cm point guard Quinn Cook (college: Duke). He last played for Fujian Sturgeons in the Chinese CBA league. In 12 games, he posted impressive stats: 16.7ppg, 2.2rpg, and 4.0apg last season.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Cook was also a member of the USA international program for some years. He played for USA Senior National Team in 2022 and previously for the University National Team back in 2013.
Cook represented the USA at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers three years ago. His team won Gold, and he averaged 5 points per game.
He is a very experienced player. Cook has traveled the world during his pro career, playing in seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America). He has played professionally between Puerto Rico (Cangrejeros and Gigantes), Russia (Lokomotiv), Saudi Arabia (Al-Ula), Taiwan (Mustangs), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, and GS Warriors), and NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors, Stockton Kings, and Cleveland Charge).
Among many awards, he played in the final of the NBA in 2019. Cook was also voted the USBasket.com All-D-League Guard of the Year back in 2017.
He graduated from Duke University in 2015 and this will be his eleventh season in pro basketball.
