30-year old Elie Kaje (198-C/F-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for Kepler BBC Kigali and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed EAU (#6, 1-2) with 18-point margin 92-74. Kepler is placed at 4th position in Rwandan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Kepler will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Kaje as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Kaje has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 10.3rpg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 56.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Israel Otobo (200-C-2004) of top-ranked APR Basketball Club Kigali. He is Nigerian center in his first season at APR. In the last game Otobo recorded an impressive double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led APR to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Azomco (#7, 1-3) 98-49. This victory allowed APR to move up to 1st position in the standings. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 3 games without any defeat. Otobo is a newcomer at APR and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.7ppg (#9). He also registered 11.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to center Olivier Shyaka (197-C-1995) of Tigers BB Kigali (#3). Shyaka scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Tigers, leading his team to a 109-54 easy win against Inspired Gen. (#9, 0-4). Tigers needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Shyaka has a very solid season. In 4 games in Rwanda he scored 8.5ppg.
