Mouandjo number one in Rwanda RBL for round 4

Cameroonian Forward Jean Mouandjo (200-F-2003) had a great game in the last round for Inspired Generation, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 22-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 21 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to Azomco (#7, 1-2) 69-74. Inspired Gen. moved-up to the 9th position in Rwandan RBL. They are still not able to win a single game in the league yet. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 3 games and recorded no victories. Mouandjo just recently signed at Inspired Gen. and it was his first game, where he immediately became new team's leader. Jean Mouandjo has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.0ppg) and averages impressive 2.0bpg.

The second best player in last round's games was another Inspired Gen.'s star - Samuel Asiribo. Asiribo had a very good evening with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Inspired Generation lost that game 69-74 to slightly higher-ranked Azomco (#7, 1-2). This loss caused Inspired Gen. to slide to the very bottom (9) position in the standings. 3 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Asiribo is one of the most experienced players at Inspired Gen. and similarly like Jean Mouandjo has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Nigerian center Israel Otobo (200-C-2004) of league's top team APR Basketball Club Kigali. Otobo scored 20 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of APR, leading his team to a 85-50 easy win against #4 ranked EAU in a game of the week. APR has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Otobo also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Otobo has a great season in Rwanda. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.0ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 10.5rpg (4th best).
