27-year old American forward Anthony Tarke (201-F-1998) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Tigers BB Kigali and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had the game-high 20 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for Tigers in his team's victory, helping them to crush Patriots (#6, 1-1) with 20-point margin 86-66. Tigers is placed at 2nd position in Rwandan league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Tigers won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Tarke just recently signed at Tigers and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Anthony Tarke averages just after two games 11.0ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Elie Kaje (198-C/F-1995) of Kepler BBC Kigali. He is international in his first season at Kepler. In the last game Kaje recorded an impressive 7 points, 19 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Kepler cruised to a 65-57 relatively comfortable win over UGB (0-2). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Kaje is a newcomer at Kepler and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Nkosinathi Sibanyoni (208-PF-1998) of United Generation Basketball Kigali (#9). Sibanyoni scored 16 points and grabbed 21 rebounds (!!!). Despite Sibanyoni's great performance the UGB lost 57-65 to Kepler (#5, 1-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. UGB can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 2 games. Sibanyoni has individually a great season in Rwanda. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 19.0rpg (#1 in league).
