Talented Nigerian Israel Otobo (200-C-2004) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader APR Basketball Club Kigali and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 21-year old center had a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Inspired Gen. (#9, 0-2) with 69-point margin 119-50. It allowed APR to jump to the first place in the Rwandan RBL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and APR won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Otobo had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be APR's top player in his first season with the team. Otobo has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 13.0rpg) and averages solid 80.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another APR's star - young Canadian shooting guard Ruta Chris (211-SG-2000). Chris impressed basketball fans with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Of course together with Otobo he helped APR Basketball Club Kigali with another comfortable win outscoring Inspired Gen. (0-2) 119-50. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Chris is well-known by APR fans and together with Israel Otobo they both established positions among team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American guard Antino Jackson (182-PG-1996) of Tigers BB Kigali (#5). Jackson showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Tigers, leading his team to a 85-62 easy win against Kepler (#7, 0-1). Tigers has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Jackson also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Jackson as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader. Antino Jackson has also Rwandan passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

4. Hubert Kwizera (184-PG-2004) of Patriots - 18 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
