Tigers roll past APR to celebrate SuperCup title

Tigers have conquered the SuperCup trophy. They rallied pat APR to victoriously open the new season. Albert Odero (193-G-1997, college: Talladega, agency: Olsta) scored 20 points to lead the winners. Antino Jackson (182-PG-1996, college: N.Mexico) and Paul Bizimana (206-PF-2003) banked in 14 points apiece.
Tigers sank 25 points in the first period to open a 3-point lead. They maintained the advantage throughout the second period. Tigers accumulated a 47-44 halftime advantage. They followed with a 22-10 run in the third stanza to record a 15-point lead heading into the fourth period. APR held their opponents to just 9 points in the fourth quarter but could not avoid the loss.
Axel Mpoyo was the only APR player to score in double digits as he finished with 12.
