Doumbya comes back to United Generation Basketball Kigali

United Generation Basketball Kigali (RBL) added 28-year-old Burundian forward Mohamed Doumbya (202cm-1997) to their roster. It is his comeback to Kigali as he has played there before. Doumbya recently played at Tarbes-Lourdes in the French NM1 league, where he averaged 3.5ppg and 2.1rpg in 11 games last season. During the previous summer season, he played for United Generation Basketball Kigali and also had a stint with Urunani (D1) in Burundi.
Doumbya played in the final of the Genocide Memorial Tournament in 2025.
