Center Eric Kayondo (C) had a very impressive game in the last round for United Generation Basketball Kigali and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had the game-high 33 points adding seven rebounds for UGB in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Orion (#7, 5-11) with 47-point margin 121-74. UGB maintains the 4th position in Rwandan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. UGB will need more victories to improve their 9-6 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Kayondo as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Eric Kayondo averages this season 9.3ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Garmine Kande (205-C/F-1999, agency: Helping Ballers) of league's second-best Rwanda Energy Group Kigali. He is DR Congolese in his first season at REG. In the last game Kande recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as REG lost that game 75-81 to the lower-ranked Kepler (#6, 6-9). REG managed to keep the same second spot in the standings. His team's 11-4 record is not bad at all. Kande is one of the most experienced players at REG and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another UGB's star - center Mohamed Doumbya (C-1997). Doumbya showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists in the last round. He was another key player of United Generation Basketball Kigali, helping his team with a 121-74 easy win against the lower-ranked Orion (#7, 5-11). UGB needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 6 lost games. Doumbya has a great season in Rwanda. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.0ppg (4th best), rebounds with 9.6rpg (9th best) and assists with 5.3apg (8th best). He also has 3.4spg and a FGP of 60.7%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
