Bizimungu number one in Rwanda RBL for round 13

Richard Bizimungu put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Azomco, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The player had a double-double of 26 points and 20 rebounds, while his team crushed Orion (#7, 5-10) with 17-point margin 115-98. Azomco maintains the 8th position in Rwandan RBL. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 11 games and recorded just three victories. In the team's last game Bizimungu had a remarkable 52.4% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Azomco, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Richard Bizimungu averages this season 14.6ppg and 15.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was Kennedy Garba (SG) of Orion Kigali. Garba had a very good evening with a double-double of 15 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as Orion lost that game 98-115 to slightly lower-ranked Azomco (#8, 3-11). This loss caused Orion to drop to 7th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-10 record. Garba is one of the most experienced players at Orion and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.2ppg (#6). He also registered 17.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Da'Kquan Davis (185-PG-2000) of Espoir BBC Kigali (#9). Davis got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. Despite Davis' great performance the Espoir lost 86-93 to the higher-ranked Kepler (#6, 5-9). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Espoir can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-13 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. The season just started for Davis as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.

7. Jules Irakoze (PF-2003) of Orion - 13 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Mosley Prentise) of Azomco - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
9. Cyiza Twizeyimana (F) of Kepler - 12 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Yamin Niyubahwe (C) of Kepler - 14 points and 10 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
