Diarra number one in Rwanda RBL for round 10 (by Hoops Agents)

Mali Forward Aliou Diarra (200-F-2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked APR Basketball Club Kigali, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 21 points and 18 rebounds, while his team outclassed Azomco (#8, 2-8) with 54-point margin 103-49. It allowed APR to consolidate first place in the Rwandan RBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and APR keeps a perfect 13-0 record. Diarra turned to be APR's top player in his first season with the team. Aliou Diarra has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 19.5ppg), rebounds (5th best: 11.0rpg) and averages impressive 2.3bpg and 72.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young DR Congolese Franck Nyembo (2006) of Espoir BBC Kigali. Nyembo had a very good evening with 28 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as Espoir lost that game 84-103 to the higher-ranked Tigers (#4, 6-5). Espoir are still at the very bottom. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Espoir managed to get this year. Nyembo is one of the most experienced players at Espoir and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was DR Congolese center Pitchou Kambuyi (208-C-1988) of Tigers BB Kigali (#4). Kambuyi showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, 17 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Tigers, leading his team to a 76-74 win against #2 ranked REG in a game of the week. Tigers needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 5 lost games. Kambuyi has a great season in Rwanda. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 16.4rpg (#1 in league). He also has 2.2bpg and a FGP of 60.2%.

8. David Nickelberry (201-G/F-1998) of Tigers - 19 points and 12 rebounds
9. Betoudji Kamndoh (C) of Patriots - 10 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Jarode Aworet (2001) of Azomco - 8 points, 15 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
