Canadian Chad Bowie (188-G-1996) had a very impressive game in the last round for Kepler BBC Kigali and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 28-year old guard had a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Azomco (#9, 0-5) with 26-point margin 93-67. Kepler maintains the 4th position in Rwandan RBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Kepler will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. Bowie turned to be Kepler's top player in his first season with the team. Sam Houston State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bowie is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.5ppg. Bowie is in league's top in assists (7th best: 4.8apg) and averages solid 3.3spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was shooting guard Kennedy Garba (SG) of Orion Kigali. Garba impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Orion lost that game 53-65 to the higher-ranked UGB (#5, 2-3). This loss caused Orion to drop to 8th position in the standings. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Orion managed to get this year. Garba is one of the most experienced players at Orion and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.8ppg (#8). He also registered 15.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Betoudji Kamndoh (C) of Patriots Basketball Club Kigali (#3). Kamndoh showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Patriots, leading his team to a 84-72 win against the lower-ranked Espoir (#7, 1-4). Patriots is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Kamndoh has a great season in Rwanda. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.6rpg (2nd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Mohamed Doumbya (C-1997) of UGB - 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists
