Stephaun Branch (ex Angeles) agreed terms with Patriots

Stephaun Branch

Patriots Basketball Club Kigali (RBL) signed 28-year-old American 196cm guard Stephaun Branch (college: UWG). He played during the summer at Angeles in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 24 games he recently played, he recorded very impressive stats: 16.4ppg, 7.3rpg, and 2.0apg. He helped them to reach the semifinals. Branch had a good season as he was voted League Player of the Week. Last season, he played at CS Valcea 1924 Rm Valcea (Liga Nationala) in the Romanian league. Branch also played 29 games in the Romanian Liga Nationala where he averaged a remarkable 17.5ppg, 6.2rpg, 3.0apg, and 1.8spg.
He is a very experienced player. Branch has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to ten different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Belgium (Antwerp Giants), Finland (Ura Basket), Holland (Groningen), Israel (Ironi Nahariya), Romania, Uruguay (Urunday), NBA (LA Lakers), NBA G League (SLC Stars and South Bay Lakers) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Challenge ALS, D2 Waymakers and In the Lab).
He played in the final of Dutch Eredivisie in 2023, among many awards. Branch was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Balkan League 2nd Team in 2022.
He graduated from State University of West Georgia in 2017 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball. Branch played also for Mt. San Antonio College for one year.
