American Point guard Isaiah Miller (183-PG-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked APR Basketball Club Kigali, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 22.
The 26-year old player was the main contributor (30 points, six rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Tigers (#6, 8-10) with 42-point margin 104-62. It allowed APR to take over top position in the Rwandan RBL. APR has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 16-1. In the team's last game Miller had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be APR's top player in his first season with the team. Isaiah Miller averages just after two games 19.0ppg and 5.0apg.

The second best player in last round's games was Niyizibyose Janvier of Kigali Titans. Janvier had a very good evening with a double-double of 17 points and 25 rebounds. Of course K-Titans cruised to a 76-68 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Orion (#8, 4-14). K-Titans' 9th position in the standings has not changed. 15 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories K-Titans managed to get this year. Janvier is a newcomer at K-Titans and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Patrick Rembert (185-PG-1990) of United Generation Basketball Kigali (#7). Rembert got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for seven assists. Despite Rembert's great performance the UGB lost 85-90 to the higher-ranked Kepler (#4, 10-7). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of UGB ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 9 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Rembert could help UGB to bring them higher in the standings. Rembert has a very solid season. In 6 games in Rwanda he scored 24.3ppg. He also has 4.7rpg, 9.5apg and and 3PT: 40.6%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
