Burundian Guibert Nijimbere (186-PG-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Kepler BBC Kigali and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 29-year old playmaker got a double-double of 27 points and 10 assists, while his team edged out Tigers (#6, 8-9) 85-84. Kepler is placed at 5th position in Rwandan RBL. Kepler is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-7 record. In the team's last game Nijimbere had a remarkable 53.8% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Kepler, through which he has constantly improved. Guibert Nijimbere averages this season 16.0ppg and 5.5apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Montenegrin power forward Nemanja Milosevic (204-PF-1987) of United Generation Basketball Kigali. Milosevic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led UGB to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Orion (#8, 4-13) 100-76. UGB's 7th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-8 record. Milosevic is one of the most experienced players at UGB and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Rwandan Patrick Ngabonziza (201-C/F-1999) of Tigers BB Kigali (#6). Ngabonziza scored 16 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). Despite Ngabonziza's great performance the Tigers lost 84-85 to slightly higher-ranked Kepler (#5, 8-7). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Tigers ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 9 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ngabonziza could help Tigers to bring them higher in the standings. Ngabonziza has a great season in Rwanda. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.2rpg (8th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Shaffi Habineza (C-1997) of UGB - 14 points and 12 rebounds
5. Patrick Rembert (185-PG-1990) of UGB - 16 points, 7 rebounds and 15 assists
6. Charles Nkurunziza (F) of Orion - 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Gedeon Niyigena) of Orion - 18 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Uwimbabazi Honore) of UGB - 14 points and 8 rebounds
9. Cedric Rutazigwa (G-1998) of Tigers - 21 points and 6 rebounds
10. Lukwanga Mugalu (207-C-2005) of Orion - 7 points and 10 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
