American Zion Styles (190-G-2000) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best APR Basketball Club Kigali and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 23-year old guard had the game-high 59 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for APR in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Inspired Gen. (#10, 0-12) with 94-point margin 141-47. APR maintains the 2nd position in Rwandan RBL. APR has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 10-1. In the team's last game Styles had a remarkable 92.9% from 2-point range and got eight three-pointers out of 14 attempts. He just recently signed at APR, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Zion Styles averages this season 23.6ppg and 6.0rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young South Sudanese forward Nyang Wek (198-F-1996) of Orion Kigali. Wek impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Orion was edged by the higher-ranked Espoir (#4, 7-4) 69-67. This loss caused Orion to drop to 8th position in the standings. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Orion managed to get this year. Wek is one of the most experienced players at Orion and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. alumni Wek played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

The third best performed player last round was another APR's star - Wamukota Bush. Bush scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was another key player of APR Basketball Club Kigali, helping his team with a 141-47 easy win against Inspired Gen. (#10, 0-12). Many experts and fans count APR as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 10 victories and only one lost game. Bush has a very solid season. In 2 games in Rwanda he scored 10.0ppg.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
