Cameroonian Engelbert Beleck (192-PF-1998) had an amazing evening in the last round for Rwanda Energy Group Kigali and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 25-year old power forward had the game-high 18 points adding six rebounds and six assists for REG in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Inspired Gen. (#10, 0-10) with 65-point margin 119-54. REG maintains the 3rd position in Rwandan RBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. REG will need more victories to improve their 7-3 record. In the team's last game Beleck had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. It's his second year at REG and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Engelbert Beleck averages this season 10.2ppg and 5.5rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another REG's star - young American point guard Antino Jackson (182-PG-1996). Jackson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 16 points and 14 assists. Of course together with Beleck he helped Rwanda Energy Group Kigali with another comfortable win outscoring Inspired Gen. (#10, 0-10) 119-54. REG's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 7-3 record is not bad at all. Jackson is one of the most experienced players at REG and similarly like Engelbert Beleck has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Patrick Rugamba (F) of Inspired Generation (#10). Rugamba showcased his all-around game by recording 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Rugamba's great performance the Inspired Gen. lost 54-119 to the higher-ranked REG (#3, 7-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Rugamba has a very solid season. In 9 games in Rwanda he scored 10.2ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Arnaud Nkusi (203-C/F-1999) of REG - 16 points and 7 rebounds
5. Olivier Shyaka (197-C-1995) of REG - 22 points and 7 rebounds
6. Bello Nkanira (PG-1996) of Orion - 18 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Francis Azolibe (206-F/C-1999) of Tigers - 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Patrick Ngabonziza (201-C/F-1999) of Tigers - 10 points and 14 rebounds
9. Fiston Irutingabo (SF-1996) of Tigers - 17 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Herves Ikishatse (SG-1992) of REG - 14 points and 3 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
