Ezenekwe number one in Rwanda RBL for round 10 (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Elias Ezenekwe (193-G) had a very impressive game in the last round for Orion, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The player was the main contributor (29 points, five rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out UGB (#8, 3-6) 79-78. Orion is placed at 7th position in Rwandan RBL. Orion is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-5 record. In the team's last game Ezenekwe had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Orion, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Antelope Valley University star has very solid stats this year. Ezenekwe is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.6ppg) and averages impressive 3.7spg and 59.8% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young DR Congolese Amisi Saidi (200-C-1987) of United Generation Basketball. Saidi had a very good evening with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as UGB was edged by slightly higher-ranked Orion (#7, 3-5) 79-78. This loss caused UGB to drop to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-6 record. Saidi is one of the most experienced players at UGB and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.1ppg (#7). He also registered 9.9 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Orion's star - Caleb Podo. Podo showcased his all-around game by recording 4 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Orion, helping his team with a 79-78 win against slightly lower-ranked UGB (#8, 3-6). The chances of Orion not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 5 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Podo could try to bring Orion's a little bit higher in the standings. Podo has a very solid season. In 6 games in Rwanda he scored 4.2ppg.
