31-year old Chadian forward Ronald Nato (199-F-1992) had a great game in the last round for Espoir BBC Kigali and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 15 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Inspired Gen. (#10, 0-9) with 25-point margin 96-71. Espoir maintains the 5th position in Rwandan league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Espoir will need more victories to improve their 5-4 record. In the team's last game Nato had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He just recently signed at Espoir, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Ronald Nato averages just after three games 24.7ppg and 11.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Olivier Turatsinze (185-PG-2001). He is international guard in his 6th season at Espoir. In the last game Turatsinze recorded an impressive 36 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course together with Nato he helped Espoir BBC Kigali with another comfortable win 88-71 over slightly higher-ranked REG (#3, 6-3) being unquestionably team leader. Espoir's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 5-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Turatsinze is one of the most experienced players at Espoir and similarly like Ronald Nato has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Pitchou Kambuyi (208-C-1988) of Rwanda Energy Group Kigali (#3). Kambuyi scored 15 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). Despite Kambuyi's great performance the REG lost 71-88 to slightly lower-ranked Espoir (#5, 5-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing REG needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 3 lost games. Kambuyi has a great season in Rwanda. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.3rpg (5th best). He also has 2.9bpg and a FGP of 62.4%.
