Bowie number one in Rwanda RBL for round 7 (by Hoops Agents)

Canadian Guard Chad Bowie (188-G-1996) put on an amazing game in the last round for Kepler BBC, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 27-year old player was the main contributor (29 points, six rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Tigers (#5, 3-4) with 18-point margin 85-67. Kepler is placed at 4th position in Rwandan RBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Kepler will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Bowie had a remarkable 53.3% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He just recently signed at Kepler, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Sam Houston State University star has very solid stats this year. Bowie is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.4ppg. Bowie is in league's top in assists (7th best: 4.9apg) and averages impressive 2.7spg.

The second best player in last round's games was American Elias Ezenekwe (193-G) of Orion. Ezenekwe had a very good evening with 35 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Orion to another comfortable win 91-76 over Inspired Gen. (#10, 0-7) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Orion to move up to 8th position in the standings. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Orion managed to get this year. Ezenekwe is one of the most experienced players at Orion and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#6). He also registered 4.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Nigerian forward Francis Azolibe (206-F/C-1999) of Tigers BB (#5). Azolibe showcased his all-around game by recording 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Azolibe's great performance the Tigers lost 67-85 to slightly higher-ranked Kepler (#4, 4-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Tigers ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 4 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Azolibe could help Tigers to bring them higher in the standings. Azolibe has a great season in Rwanda. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 14.0rpg (#1 in league).
