Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The biggest surprise of round 5 was guest Kepler's (#4) road victory over UGB (#5) 104-102 on Saturday evening. Kepler forced 21 UGB turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Chad Bowie (188-1996, college: SHSU) who scored 31 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international point guard Aristide Mugabe (183-1988) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Kepler's coach Juruni Lutwama used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. DR Congolese center Amisi Saidi (200-1987) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points and 16 rebounds for the hosts. Newly promoted Kepler maintains fourth place with 3-2 record. UGB at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Espoir.
Leader REG blasted bottom-ranked K-Titans (0-4) in Kigali 85-47 keeping the perfect record after 5 rounds. K-Titans is still unable to win any game. DR Congolese center Pitchou Kambuyi (208-1988) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks. Olivier Shyaka contributed with 8 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. DR Congolese forward Bienvenue Bolangi (194-2001) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for K-Titans. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated REG (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Patriots. K-Titans at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Orion.

Nshobozwa Wilson stepped up and scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. David Atkinson responded with 29 points. Orion's coach Albert Buhake gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for APR. Defending champion maintains third place with 4-0 record behind leader Patriots. Orion lost their fourth game in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. They share the position with K-Titans.

Leader REG blasted bottom-ranked K-Titans (0-4) in Kigali 85-47 keeping the perfect record after 5 rounds. K-Titans is still unable to win any game. REG dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to K-Titans' 32. They outrebounded K-Titans 55-33 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when APR made 11 blocks.
