Prince Ibeh (ex Penarol) signs at Homentmen

Homentmen Beirut (LBL) landed 29-year old Rwandan-American ex-international 208cm center Prince Ibeh (college: Texas). Ibeh started the season at Penarol in Uruguayan LUB league. In four games he averaged just 2.0ppg, 5.5rpg and 2.3bpg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016. Ibeh was a member of Rwandan Senior National Team in 2021.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on five different continents. Ibeh is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, African and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Germany (Hamburg Towers), Japan (B Corsairs), Philippines (Meralco Bolts and North Port), Taiwan (New Taipei CTBC DEA and TB Ibehrobears), United Kingdom (Plymouth Patriots), Venezuela (Guaros), Uruguay (Aguada and Trouville), Rwanda (Patriots) and NBA G League (Long Island Nets).
Among many awards his team won Venezuelan SPB Western Conference Regular Season in 2023. He was also voted to Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SPB Defensive Player of the Year in 2023.
Ibeh graduated from University of Texas in 2016 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
