REG - UGB 84-75 RBL top team - REG (15-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked UGB (7-9) in Kigali 84-75. REG have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 15-1 record. UGB lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. REG will play against K-Titans (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. UGB will play against IPRC-Musanze (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track. Orion - K-Titans 75-73 This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 3rd ranked K-Titans (10-5) to sixth ranked Orion (8-7) 75-73 on Friday evening. Newly promoted Orion maintains sixth position with 8-7 record. K-Titans at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the third place with five games lost. Orion are looking forward to face IPRC-Huye (#10) at home in the next round. K-Titans will play against the league's leader REG (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals. IPRC-Musanze - IPRC-Huye 54-85 Bottom-ranked IPRC-Musanze (0-14) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 14th consecutive match to tenth ranked IPRC-Huye (4-10) 85-54 on Saturday evening. IPRC-Huye maintains tenth position with 4-10 record. Loser IPRC-Musanze still closes the standings with 14 games lost. IPRC-Huye will meet higher ranked Orion (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. IPRC-Musanze will play against UGB (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory. |
