APR - IPRC-Kigali 106-59 Very expected game when bottom-ranked IPRC-Kigali (0-10) was crushed on the road by second ranked APR (9-2) 106-59 on Friday. APR have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 9-2 record behind leader REG, which they share with Patriots. Loser IPRC-Kigali still closes the standings with ten games lost. They share the position with IPRC-Musanze. K-Titans - SFTS 80-67 Rather predictable result when fourth ranked K-Titans (8-3) defeated at home 7th ranked SFTS (4-7) 80-67 on Friday. Newly promoted K-Titans maintains fourth place with 8-3 record, which they share with Espoir. SFTS lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Tigers. REG - Patriots 83-69 There was a change at the RBL leadership position after last games. Round 7 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Patriots (9-2). They were defeated by second ranked REG (10-1) 83-69 on Friday night. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Patriots. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Patriots at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They share the position with APR. They were replaced at the leadership position by REG. Espoir - SFTS 103-78 Not a big story in a game in Kigali where 7th ranked SFTS (4-7) was rolled over by fifth ranked Espoir (8-3) 103-78 on Saturday. Espoir have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with K-Titans. SFTS lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Tigers. Tigers - APR 75-72 A very close game took place in between Tigers and APR. Ninth ranked Tigers (4-7) got a very close home victory over much higher ranked APR (9-2). Tigers managed to escape with a 3-point win 75-72 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of APR. Tigers moved-up to eighth place, which they share with SFTS. Loser APR keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Patriots. IPRC-Kigali - UGB 45-81 Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked UGB (6-5) outscored on the road bottom-ranked IPRC-Kigali (0-10) 81-45 on Sunday. UGB maintains sixth place with 6-5 record. Loser IPRC-Kigali still closes the standings with ten games lost. They share the position with IPRC-Musanze. SFTS - Orion 60-72 Very significant was Orion's (#8) 72-60 road victory against 7th ranked SFTS. Orion (5-6) moved-up to seventh place. SFTS lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Tigers. Espoir - IPRC-Huye 110-76 There was no surprise in Kigali where 10th ranked IPRC-Huye (2-9) was outplayed by fifth ranked Espoir (8-3) 110-76 on Sunday. Espoir have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with K-Titans. Loser IPRC-Huye keeps the tenth position with nine games lost. |
